This week, I was asked to preach at my home church, Mestizo Community Church in Providence. I was able to use the same message at the prison, I just dialed back a bit. The quotes and slides are based on the Third Step Prayer form AA and information from the book "The Holy Longing: The Search for a Christian Spirituality," by Ronald Rolheiser, which I highly recommend.
Attached are the slides from my presentation at church as well as the handout for the prison. There will be a video uploaded once I am able to get the file.
