Today we celebrate five women inside the RI DOC women's facility who have completed programs to better themselves and work toward becoming amazing members of the community when they are released. One woman received her Bachelor's in General Studies from CCRI and is looking forward to beginning her Master's in Social Work at Roger Williams University. It has been a true pleasure to walk alongside her and watch her truly blossom into the person God has created her to be. The other four women completed the Re-entry Campus Program. Among the women were three different religions that are practiced, so when I was asked to give the invocation prayer, I knew I wanted it to be inclusive to all. Here is what I prayed:
