Our second topic in our four-week series today on Shifting Focus is shame.
Brené Brown says: “Shame hates it when we reach out and tell our story. It hates having words wrapped around it- it can't survive being shared. Shame loves secrecy. When we bury our story, the shame metastasizes.”
Our focus today is where we hold shame in our body using the story of the "Prodigal Son" or otherwise named "The Father with Two Sons." We will also look at how we are called to community in Christ in order to find healing for ourselves and others.
